We have had our s1 20w laser for less than five months. Set up went easily, and we were both able to connect to the laser in the garage from inside the home on wifi from my mac mini, my iphone, and his ipad. We only have one wifi network and were able to run projects with no issues. However, a few updates ago I was no longer able to connect to the laser from my mac, but my husband could still reach it from the app on his ipad, and I can still reach it from my phone. We lugged the laser into my office and connected it to my mac via the usb cable (why is this cord not 10' long???) and I followed the instructions for establishing a wifi connection through USB first per the troubleshooting instructions. I did not have to do this when we set up the laser initially, it just was able to connect via wifi. I get a “success!” screen after following the USB > WIFI instructions, but when I hit “complete”, I get a “mismatched wifi” error pop-up.

I have already:

• made sure the app was the most up-to-date
• restarted my computer
• restarted the laser
• Unplugged and re-plugged the laser
• uninstalled and re-installed the latest version of the creative software twice 
• tried the hot-spot on my iphone as an alternate wifi source, also failed to connect and gave the mis-matched wifi error pop-up 
• disconnected anything that may give a false wifi signal (like my wireless printer)
• Contacted support who escalated it (waiting on feedback from a technical engineer)

It's been over a month of trying to trouble shoot this and I'm ready to sell it for parts since I'm fairly certain it can't be returned. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make this work from my mac again I'm willing to try them.
