I'm curious if it is normal to have to re-pair your AP2 to the F1 Ultra or P2S every time you power them up?

I have both the F1 Ultra and P2S, each unit has a dedicated AP2, I have to pair them every time I start either machine respectively.  Each AP2 came with 2 dongles, I have rotated through both dongles on each respective AP2, and the behavior persists.

Once paired everything operates fine until I shut the machines down for the night.

Anyone else experience this?

Why can't the pairing be stored in the machine? Can firmware address this?

Is this user error on my part?
