First, kudos to xTool for the latest XCS update. I have been waiting for the Connection improvements since I bought my first D1 almost 4 years ago.  So far, it works perfectly on my Mac!

And thank you for the guides and improved snap feature in XCS. I haven't used it extensively, but it appears to be leaps and bounds above what was there before. A huge improvement in usability!

That said, I have 2 feature requests. I hope this is where to bring them up. Can't find anywhere else…

1. First a very simple request… Please add Shortcut keypresses for Background and Closeup updates, as well as for Aimed and Quick measure. Both of these are features that often need to be used consecutively to get the best results, and both are tiny buttons that have to be pressed, then for the most commonly used, the mouse has to be moved away from the button to complete the task. They are prefect for shortcuts! For a bit more ambitious request, why not make it possible to add shortcuts for EVERY command in XCS. Then I can add my own shortcuts for these items.
2. This is a much bigger request, but I am certain it can be done. It can be very difficult to align drawings to items on the build plate when viewing the background. A lot of items simply blend into a busy black background too well, making it very hard to see where they are. However, you already have expertise in AI, so why not use that expertise to automatically remove the Laser bed, while leaving the items in the foreground that are to be processed? This may not always work with all materials but I think it would be an amazing feature for 99% of what most people do with their lasers. Imagine being able to see your items on a white, or other single-color background. It would probably prevent millions of migraine headaches for xTool users everywhere!

Again, amazing update. Thanks for continuing to make XCS better. So far, nobody else has been able to keep up, making me very happy I chose xTool for my first Laser, and each subsequent laser I have bought since (even though the Wifi connection was atrocious until this last update!!!).
