I have the P2S, riser, AP2, etc…

The AP2 works great when the tray is in the normal position, but when I am using the rotary and lower the tray into the riser base I get significant smell in the room. I am not currently venting the output of the AP2 outside and don't' think it would help even if I did. 

I am considering just wrapping painter's tape around the gap between the P2S and the Riser but am curious if others have a better solution. I know this won't help when using the conveyor and will be a pain when I need to adjust the tray height but if I am doing a run of tumblers it may be worth it.
