I have a 2002 VW Passat 1.9 TDI (131 PS).

This whole adventure started with me replacing both rear calipers. After that I could not bleed the brakes properly and I had to push the pedal almost to the floor to get any braking. I put the car in a workshop and they fixed the brake pedal so the brakes/brake pedal are now perfect. I also told them to get the lights in the dashboard to go out. They said they tried clearing the codes, but they reappeared instantly. I would have to make another appointment so they could book time to diagnose or fix this.

So I bought the XTool D7 to fix this.

3 lights in the dashboard are lit - ABS light, the light with an exclamation mark and the light with a triangle inside. It beeps 3 times every time I start to drive. I try to make these 3 lights go out.

When I go to special functions and hit SAS I get 5 options. When I follow either of them I get an error regarding ECU communication.

Another thing that is annoying/disappointing is that the screenshots in the manual are totally different from the screens on my D7.

I start to worry that I have wasted my money on the D7 :(
