Hello, need a quick how to on engraving a photo/image onto basswood AND have it in grayscale. I'm setting it to grayscale in the program but it's coming out BLACK. I have power down to 1 and the speed almost full blast . . . what's the deal?

FWIW, this is a test print for my father I just got done repairing his machine (new belt) but trying to run tests to ensure it's all good before I bring it back to him.
