Hi I am trying to make some folded menus , I first tried it to a 3.5 mm regular plywood and it cut through no problem no burning everything perfect .

When I change to the marine grade plywood and try to cut or make the lines for the hinge ( lots of small lines ) it catches on fire .

And when I try to cut it the perimeter still after 3 passes it’s not fully cut and it’s burned
