We're a high school class using an Xtool F1 with the RA2 Rotary and Slide Extension for a project. Initially, the rotary was working perfectly. However, when we checked back after a while, it had stopped mid-burn and was vibrating back and forth instead of rotating smoothly.

We tried restarting everything (both the machine and the software) from scratch, but the issue persisted. The movement remains jerky and unpredictable, occasionally attempting rotation but never achieving consistent or predictable movement.

Interestingly, this same "jerking" movement also occurs when we use the Slide Extension, suggesting the problem might lie with the F1 itself rather than the individual accessories.

To rule out software issues, we confirmed that the firmware is up-to-date. Additionally, we replicated the exact setup on a new part using the same previously-run program with the same outcome.

We'd greatly appreciate any assistance in troubleshooting this issue and resuming our project!

The problem appeared suddenly after the machine had been working flawlessly.
