Some users may have encountered issues with machines that stop working during burning projects. One possible cause is extreme tilting and wobbling, which activates the Stop When Moved automatic protection feature. In this post, we'll explain what it is, how it works, and how to manage it to ensure smooth and uninterrupted engraving projects.
The Stop When Moved feature is available on both the D1 Pro and F1 models. When enabled, it ensures that the laser head stops working if the machine is strongly moved during operation, triggering a buzzer and a blinking red light indicator.
Note: a slight touch won't activate this feature.
If the Stop When Moved feature is triggered, XCS will automatically display an alarm. Unfortunately, the machine cannot resume processing from its stopped point, so you'll need to click Confirm, then return to the canvas and re-start from Framing.
This function is designed to prevent the machine from falling and accidentally igniting other objects, ensuring your safety during operation.
If you're confident that your workspace is stable and unobstructed, you may choose to switch off the Stop When Moved feature. Just make sure to double-check your environment to avoid any accidents.
That's all for today! Hope you enjoy a seamless engraving experience while keeping safety as a priority 😉
