You need to assemble the riser base before using it.
(1) Fit the left side panel and left corners together.
(2) Fit the left guide rail panel and the support corner together.
(3) Fit the left guide rail panel and left corners together.
(1) Insert the pins of the right side panel into the holes in the right corners. Reserve a spacing so that you can fit the fixing plate in.
(2) Place fixing plate B between the two right corners, aligning the screw holes, and then push the corner to fit them together.
(3) Fit the right guide rail panel and the other support corner together.
(4) Fit the right guide rail panel and right corners together.
The front door panel is slightly wider than the rear one.
(1) Insert the pins of the door panels into the holes in the left and right corners. Reserve a spacing so that you can fit the fixing plates in.
(2) Place fixing plates A between the left and right structures, aligning the screw holes, and then push the structure to fit them together.
Assembly completed!
(1) Place xTool P2 on the riser base.
Note: The riser base is designed with positions on the left and right sides for placing your hands. To place xTool P2, hold it on the sides instead of at the corners, so that your hands don't get hurt.
(2) Remove the slats.
Tips: You can keep the removed screw and slats, for subsequent use, in the storage space on the right side of the riser base.
(3) Remove the screw that fixes the baseplate, open the door panel, and then take out the baseplate.
Tips: You can keep the removed screw and slats, for subsequent use, in the storage space on the right side of the riser base.
(4) Connect xTool P2 to XCS.
The riser base is designed with 9 placement levels to adapt to materials of multiple thicknesses.
Before placing a material, you need to determine the level at which the baseplate of xTool P2 is to be placed based on the thickness of the material to be processed.
Alternatively, you can determine the placement level of the baseplate by using the tape measure. Learn more.
For materials thinner than 30 mm, you can place the baseplate back into xTool P2, and then place the material on the baseplate for processing.
For materials of 30 mm or thicker, you can't place the baseplate back into xTool P2 for material processing. You need to determine the level at which the baseplate is to be placed based on the thickness of the material, as described in the following table.
1 | 30 ≤ h ≤ 102 | |
1a | 43 ≤ h ≤ 115 | |
2 | 55 ≤ h ≤ 127 | |
2a | 68 ≤ h ≤ 142 | |
3 | 80 ≤ h ≤ 154 | |
3a | 93 ≤ h ≤ 167 | |
4 | 105 ≤ h ≤ 179 | |
4a | 118 ≤ h ≤ 192 | |
5 | 130 ≤ h ≤ 200 |
For example, to process a flat material with a thickness of 130 mm.
(1) Place the baseplate at level 2a, and place the material on the baseplate.
(2) Close the door panel and lid, and select Open plane on XCS.
(3) Click Aimed-measure to start automatic distance measurement.
(4) Set the position of the object to be processed and set processing parameters.
(5) Click Process, preview the object, press Process, and then press the button on the machine to start processing.
(6) Wait for the processing to complete.
To process long materials, you can use the riser base in combination with xTool Conveyor Feeder. To use the conveyor feeder, you need to install it on the riser base first. Learn more.
To process regular or irregular cylindrical materials, you can use the riser base in combination with xTool Rotary Attachment. Learn more.
