This article introduces the glass focus calibration process for xTool X1. Before calibration, ensure that you've connected xTool X1 with xTool software.

Step 1: Open the calibration page

(1) In the upper-right corner, click the device settings icon.

(2) In the Device settings dialog box, click Calibration.

(3) Click Start next to Glass Focus Calibration.

Step 2: Prepare for calibration

(1) Ensure that the positioning piece for UV inner engraving is properly installed. For details, visit Install the positioning piece for UV inner engraving.

(2) Select the type of glass to be calibrated. If you select Glass cup, refer to Secure the rotary attachment to secure the rotary attachment and Use Rotary Attachment 3 (RA3) with xTool X1 (Jaw Chuck Mode) to secure the cup with the rotary attachment.

(3) Apply masking tape to the right of the glass, close the lid of xTool X1, and click Placed in the software.

(4) Click Measure.

(5) Open the lid of xTool X1, remove the masking tape on the glass, position the glass flush against the innner edges of the positioning piece, and click Next.

(6) Place a black metal card on the glass.

(7) Click Framing and press the start/stop button on xTool X1 to preview the processing area.

(8) Close the lid, click Engraving, and press the start/stop button on xTool X1 for the device to process the glass.

(9) Open the lid and take out the glass. Then, observe the engraving results on the glass, select the bar with the most even engraving, and select its corresponding value in the software.

(10) Remove the glass from xTool X1 and click Glass Removed and Next in the software.

(11) Click Finish to complete the whole calibration.
