Purpose
After installing a galvo module and a galvo source, flight galvanometer calibration is part of the xTool X1 calibration process. It calibrates the mapping between galvanometer scanning and actual coordinates to correct position offset or distortion during high-speed processing.
Cleaning before calibration
Before starting calibration, complete the cleaning preparations by following the instructions: Cleaning Guide for xTool X1 Before Flight Galvo Calibration
Enter the calibration procedure

After connecting xTool X1 to the software, click the device settings icon in the upper-right corner of the software home page.
Scenario 1: Perform full initialization calibration
If you need to perform full initialization calibration, such as when using the device for the first time, click Calibration > Initialization Calibration.
After completing the preceding calibration items, you will enter machine coordinate calibration. This calibration item includes two stages: camera calibration and flight galvanometer calibration. Follow the in-software instructions to complete the preparations. The software will perform camera calibration first and then automatically proceed to flight galvanometer calibration.

Scenario 2: Perform flight galvanometer calibration only
To perform flight galvanometer calibration separately, click Calibration > Flight galvanometer calibration.
Follow the in-software instructions to complete the preparations. You can then start calibration without performing any other calibration items.
