Install the conveyor feeder
1. Prepare xTool X1
(1) Turn off the power switch.

(2) Remove the screws from the back panel.

(3) Remove the back panel.

(4) Remove the seven screws on the inner side of the front panel.

(5) Lift the front panel upward. When you hear a "click", pull it forward to remove it.

2. Install the conveyor feeder
(1) Remove the front panel of the conveyor feeder.

(2) Align the locating pins of the conveyor feeder with the locating holes of xTool X1, then install the conveyor feeder.

(3) Use screws to secure the conveyor feeder from the inside and outside.

(4) Insert one end of the connection cable into xTool X1.
🔔 When inserting or removing the connection cable, ensure that xTool X1 is powered off.

(5) Insert the other end of the connection cable into the conveyor feeder.

3. Install the linear shaft
(1) Install the fixing block.

(2) Install the linear shaft.

4. Remove the sticker from the sensor

5. Install the smoke shield strips

(1) Install smoke shield strip 1.

(2) Install smoke shield strip 2.

(3) Install smoke shield strip 3.

6. Assemble the conveyor rails
You can install the support legs at the two ends of the conveyor rails. In this manual, installing at the front end is used as an example.
- Installing at the front end
If the support legs are installed at the front end, the materials to be processed should meet the following conditions:
- All materials: weight ≤ 18 kg
- Acrylic: length ≤ 1220 mm and thickness ≤ 20 mm
- Wooden boards: length ≤ 1220 mm and thickness ≤ 25.4 mm

🔔 If you use the conveyor feeder with xTool Mobile Work Stand, you should install the support legs at the front end, and ensure that the support leg bases rest on the plates of the cantilevers.

- Installing at the rear end
If the support legs are installed at the rear end, the materials to be processed should meet the following conditions:
- All materials: weight ≤ 18 kg
- Acrylic: length ≤ 1500 mm and thickness ≤ 20 mm
- Wooden boards: length ≤ 1500 mm and thickness ≤ 25.4 mm

(1) Assemble the front conveyor rails.
🔔 Install the support leg base. Do not fully tighten it to allow for later adjustment.

(2) Assemble the rear conveyor rails.
🔔 Install the support leg base. Do not fully tighten it to allow for later adjustment.

7. Install the conveyor rails
(1) Install the rear conveyor rails.
Insert the conveyor rails into the slots of xTool X1 based on the width of the material to be processed, and tighten the thumb screws.

(2) Install the front conveyor rails.
Align the conveyor rails and the locating holes of the conveyor feeder, and tighten the thumb screws.
🔔 Ensure that the front and rear conveyor rails are aligned symmetrically.

8. Use the level to check whether xTool X1 and the conveyor rails are level
(1) Place the level horizontally and vertically on xTool X1 as illustrated. If the bubble is centered, xTool X1 is level. Ensure the device is level before use.

(2) Place the level on the support legs of the conveyor rails. If the bubble is centered, the rails are level. Ensure the rails are level before use.

Use the conveyor feeder
1. Turn on the power switch of xTool X1

2. Get xTool software
Visit s.xtool.com/software to get download and install xTool software.

3. Connect xTool X1 to a computer.

Product usage tip
Pressure level
- In xTool software, the conveyor feeder mode provides two pressure levels: rigid level and flexible level, responding to hard material and soft material respectively.
- Rigid level is the default setting. If you process a soft material, set the pressure level to Flexible before capturing images.
Material requirements
- Use materials with straight edges.

- Use materials with high flatness, or materials with a maximum deformation of 3 mm or less.

- If the material has hollow areas, cover them with masking tape; otherwise, the material may not be detected, which may cause processing failure.

- For black matte materials (such as black felt and black EVA foam), apply masking tape as shown. Ensure the taped side faces downward and the tape covers the sensors during processing.

- If the material to be processed is flexible and 3 mm thick or less, such as 3 mm cork board, EVA foam board, and felt board, adhere it to a 6 mm thick basswood board and set the pressure level to Flexible material in the software.

Material placement
- Ensure that both sides of the material is within the widest limit mark of feeding inlet.

- Ensure that the material is parallel to the slats of xTool X1.

- Adjust the distance between two conveyor rails based on the width of material to ensure that the material is under even pressure, which can avoid deformation.

- To ensure that the material is tightly secured and the feed is stable, the protruding length of the material's leading end should be approximately equal to that of the trailing end.

Cautions for processing
If the unsupported sections of both sides of the material are more than 300 mm, additional conveyor rails are required. You can purchase conveyor rails at xTool.com.

Routine cleaning
- Use a brush to regularly clean the clamping module on the conveyor feeder to ensure a good processing effect.

- Before using the conveyor feeder, ensure that the sensors on the conveyor feeder and the rear of the xTool X1 are clean.
