Meet xTool M1 Ultra Electrostatic Mat

💡 Note: The effective processing area is defined within the dotted box. However, potential installation deviation may lead to slight differences in this area. |
Use xTool M1 Ultra Electrostatic Mat
1. Unscrew the thumb screws for the baseplate of xTool M1 Ultra

2. Place the electrostatic mat into xTool M1 Ultra

💡 Note: For a smooth installation and to prevent damage, ensure that the baseplate is free of debris, and remove any existing processing module from the multi-function holder before placing the electrostatic mat. |
3. Tighten the thumb screws for the baseplate of xTool M1 Ultra

4. Place the electrostatic protection sheet on the electrostatic mat

⚠️ Caution: Do not place more than one electrostatic protection sheet on the electrostatic mat. |
5. Insert the connection cable of the electrostatic mat into the rotary attachment port of xTool M1 Ultra

6. Check whether the electrostatic mat is connected to xTool M1 Ultra

💡 Note: Ensure that xTool M1 Ultra is powered on. |
Indicator status | Electrostatic mat status |
Solid yellow | Powered on, but not connected to xTool M1 Ultra |
Solid white | Powered on and connected to xTool M1 Ultra |
Solid green | Powered on with active electrostatic adsorption |
Off | Not powered on |
7. Place the material to be processed on the electrostatic protection sheet

💡 Note: Flatten the material. |
8. Enable electrostatic adsorption

💡 Note: After securing the material, you can proceed with the corresponding processing. The static electricity generated by the electrostatic mat during processing helps to hold the material in place. |
9. For an uneven surface, flatten the material with your hands; for warped edges, attach stickers to secure them

💡 Note: If most areas of the material cannot be adsorbed by the electrostatic mat, the electrostatic mat may not be suitable for securing the material. |

⚠️ Caution: Do not attach stickers to the processing path. |
10. Disable electrostatic adsorption

|
11. Remove the electrostatic mat

💡 Note: Remove the processing module (if any) from the multi-function holder before removing the electrostatic mat. |

Maintenance
- Do not store the electrostatic mat in a damp environment.
- To prevent damage to the electrostatic film, ensure that you place an electrostatic protection sheet on the electrostatic mat before using blade cutting.
FAQ
- What types of materials can be secured by the electrostatic mat for blade cutting?
The electrostatic mat is suitable for securing paper and certain types of leather during blade cutting. It is not suitable for fabrics or wood boards. The mat's ability to hold leather can vary according to the leather's surface texture. - Can the electrostatic protection sheet be cleaned?
Yes, when the power is off, the electrostatic protection sheet can be cleaned by gently wiping with a damp cloth. After wiping, allow it to air-dry in a well-ventilated area. However, do not rub the sheet when you clean it. - Why does the electrostatic film turn yellow or black?
After being used for a long time, the adhesive on the back of the electrostatic film may turn yellow or black. This is a normal occurrence and does not affect the use of the electrostatic mat.
