Operating Precautions in High-Temperature Environments for xTool P2 Series
When the H indicator lights up on your laser device's state display screen during operation, it signals a high-temperature warning. The machine remains usable but needs temperature monitoring. If it surpasses 45°C, it will stop working.
Operating in an appropriate temperature environment
Optimal Operating Temperature:
- The device should operate within a temperature range of 5-35°C.
- For optimal performance, it is advisable to operate P2 in an environment with a temperature range of 10-30°C. This aids in safeguarding the device against high-temperature damage.
- Implement proper ventilation and cooling mechanisms, like industrial fans or air conditioning, to lower the ambient temperature.
Replacing cooling water with 100% distilled water
Improving Cooling Efficiency:
Switching from antifreeze-containing cooling water to 100% distilled water enhances the cooling system's efficiency. Distilled water, with superior thermal conductivity and fewer impurities, improves heat absorption and transfer.
Note:
- If using distilled water as the cooling water in high-temperature environments for extended periods, regularly monitor and replace it to avoid a reduction in cooling efficiency caused by evaporation.
- If the environment temperature drops afterward, ensure adding antifreeze promptly to prevent damage to the machine's laser tube.
Safety precautions:
- If the H indicator is on and it's extremely hot, avoid staying there too long to prevent dehydration or heatstroke.
- When working in high-temperature environments, take regular breaks and stay hydrated to avoid health risks.
