The Touchscreen Controller
Buttons
Up/Down button for laser module: Lifts or lower the laser module for laser focusing
Framing button: Press it once to start or stop framing
Start/Stop button:
- Press it once to start or pause material processing
- Press it twice consecutively to repeat the last processing task
- Long press it for 2s to stop and cancel the processing task
- Long press it for 5s to switch the software connection mode
User interface
When xTool F1 Ultra is turned on, the touchscreen controller lights up. The touchscreen interface is as follows:
Connection status
The icon in the top-right corner of the touchscreen indicates the connection status between the device and the software XCS.

| Connected to the software via USB cable |
| Connected to the software via Wi-Fi |
Connection mode
The icon in the top-left corner of the touchscreen indicates the device's connection mode.
| The device becomes an access point (AP), or hotspot. You can connect XCS to the device in hotspot mode. |
(No icon displayed) | The device is not in hotspot mode. To turn the device to a hotspot, press the XTOOL Start/Stop button on the touchscreen controller for 5 seconds until the device beeps and the AP icon is displayed. |
