I am trying to cut 2mm thick chip board with my new M1 Ultra 10W laser.  I did the Cut test array with 90 to 100% power and 5 to 10 Speed.  None of the settings cut through.

Do I need multiple passes?  a stronger laser?  I am surprised that the laser can cum 3mm basswood but is not cutting thick cardboard.  I want to have the laser cut out the chipboard ( a 2 mm thick cardboard type product) for making boxes covered with paper.  

I tried 90 % power and 1 speed and the cardboard burned.

Please help
