M1 Ultra and Safety Pro IF2 Parameters and Cotton Filter question

Recently I had a failure of the M1 Ultra 20w.  I replaced it with a new one, put a new fan in and a new board for the Z axis.

Because we aren't really sure what had caused the failure  we decided to add an inline fan to the system.  We vent through the wall as it is my wood working area ( a converted shed)..

When I first started the unit this afternoon everything cut fine, then it started to skip, then it stopped completely firing.  We shut everything down,  restarted and it did the same thing.

We removed the laser and ran the ink cartridge and other components with no problems.  When we reinstalled the laser…it appears to be working fine.

So my questions are, what are the parameters in the software that I need to adjust after adding the inline fan?.  Do I need to shut the machine fan off (would they compete and cause a problem)?  Is there another setting that isn't covered in the installation manual?

We are also noticing that with every completed project the machine is telling us the filter is full and needs replaced.  I know they are supposed to last 6-8 hours of cut time, but we are seeing it at the end of every job, whether its a 10 minute cut or an hour plus.  We disengaged the notification as it kept interfering with our work.  But what could be causing this?  Do we need the cotton filter with the inline fan?  If we do we are going to go through a box or more a day of filters

We are currently also running fire safety.  Our air assist is currently down as we discovered a damaged cord today and have ordered a replacement.

If anyone can help I greatly appreciate the time.  Im just trying not to mess up my investment.
