I am experiencing a scaling issue with my xTool F1 Ultra when using XCS. The engraved design does not match the original dimensions of my drawing—it appears to be either larger than intended.
I have checked the design size in XCS, ensured that the units are set to millimeters, and verified that my working area is correct. However, the issue persists.
I also noticed that when I change the material thickness in the software, the size of the engraving also changes, which makes sense. However, this adjustment then causes the focus to be incorrect.
To troubleshoot, I have already performed a Z-axis reference measurement. On an empty worktable, the automatic measurement correctly registers 0.00 mm, so the Z-axis seems to be functioning properly.
Could you please advise on how to calibrate the scaling so that the laser engraves at a 1:1 ratio? Is there a specific setting in XCS where I can adjust the X/Y axis calibration?
Thank you for your help!
