I intend to connect the P5010212 fore safety set with this to the machine. It's compliant according to the support but misses the cable.

 

The idea is to build a DIY replacement as I have issues sourcing this for my country and shipping is 30€ for a 6€ item.

 

But more importantly:

 

And does anyone use the fire safety set P5010212 with external sensors together with this cable and the built-in P2S camera for detection feature? Does it work.and improve the safety/ detection probability?

 

Or will the cable, which seems part of the P5010375 set without sensors the only valid combination?

 

The guides are not answering this question for me as they discuss only either or installation.

 

I also found review videos on YouTube suggesting that a firmware update for the fire safey device is required but I don't find anything on this at xtool. Will it be done via XCS once connect with the cable or can it be done directly with a USB to PC connection? What tools are needed?
