This evening on the last of 6 jobs my P2S laser stopped firing in the middle of the job but the head continued to move. After a minute or so the laser started firing again but stopped again while the head continued to move. This kept up off and on until the job finished. I reran the job and got the same result. I’m wondering if the laser coolant got too warm but if the firmware is going to shutdown the laser, why wouldn’t it just pause the job? If it pauses then you would have an opportunity to resume it. By just shutting off the laser your only option may be to toss the material and start over.

This brings up another question. What is the upper limit for the coolant temperature? I’m assuming that the temperature on the display is for the coolant.
