I'm engraving on clear acrylic with a P2 at 35% power, 400 speed and 180 lines /cm - I'm using almost the full width of the P2 at 480mm. While the center letters are OK (I'm looking for a sandblasted look) the letters on the end where the laser head turns around seems to lose power and I get that fuzzy look.

I checked the beam alignment and it is correct.

  Any ideas why this is happening?

Also sometimes for no reason the engraving area shifts like at the bottom of the “R”
