I do NOT want to etch frosted glass but rather etch on Mylar and create a frosted effect. Looking to make stencils - I'm having issues finding the right settings for 7.5mil mylar too - and I want to number the stencils. I tried just using text and scoring but it's too hard to read so I was thinking if it were filled in, that would be better. But when I tried to etch it, it just melts. So what I was thinking is to somehow create an effect that looks like frosted glass on the mylar and I think that would be easy to read.

Any ideas? Thought? Tips? would be greatly appreciated.
