I clean my S1 laser lens protector and lens every hour even though I have air assist. I’ve watched the video but I have some questions. 

1) what’s the easiest process? I use 90% alcohol and a lint free swab but it still seems to take a while. I wet the swab with alcohol, clean the parts then use a dry one. But then there’s this dull film in areas so I try with the dry one some more but then have to wet again and this all seems to be a pain. 😅 Is there something I’m missing or doing wrong? Can I do it faster / better since this is something that I need to do often? 

2) is every hour of use excessive with the air assist? I’m doing engraving and light cutting of basswood right now. 

3) What’s the next level cleaning and how often should I do that? I’ve seen videos of disassembling / blowing out the laser module. What about greasing the rods, etc? Process, materials for that? 
 

4) Hiw should I clean the orange cover? Is is acrylic or polycarbonate? Seems I have a small scratch and it’s practically new! I’m thinking microfiber cloth and my favorite glass cleaner: non-alcohol sprayway
