I am engraving serial numbers at an angle because the item being engraved only fits diagonally in the F1. I have to use the Outline framing as the Rect shows a rectangle much bigger than the actual text as it goes from corner to corner.

Using Roboto 8pt the framing is perfect. At 6pt it does not show the letters and what it does show is not the full length of the serial number. The positioning of the serial number is critical and this is making things very difficult.

We cannot use a guide as the items are of different sizes.
