I have installed an extension kit on D1 Pro 20W and mechanically it appears to be working fine. However, ihave come across two issues when trying to use XCS.

1. When I change to laser extension the work area changes ok, but this change does not persist when the software is restarted.
2. If I try to do a project larger than a quarter of the work area, the machine stops when the laser hits the left side limit switch. If the project is small it must be placed in the bottom right corne  of the work area, otherwise the limit switch is triggered. 

I Have re-flashed the firmware with latest and XCS is upto date.

Any ideas what might be wrong.
