When I have a section of un-engraved text surrounded by an engraving, I get darker banding in the portions of the engraving where the text is. This occurs even with simple shapes using XCS, as well as more complicated vectors like below - so it is not specific to a file. 

The machine performs perfectly otherwise, I believe this is probably and issue related to XCS, I would love a workaround of anyone has one.

Edit: I just tested with by converting this to a png and engraving as a bitmap, and I have the same exact type of banding. Not sure what XCS is doing but I don't know how to fix it.
