Hello. 

I have xTool F1 and I am having trouble getting a true black color. I prefer not to use any coating such as a special spray, etc but if you use something you are totally happy with - please share. 

If this is possible with that machine without using any spray - can someone please share the settings - such as speed/power, number of passes, BL/IR, and engrave time for your project? Also, did you defocus (by 3mm or so) your laser or not to achieve the result? 

If you did this on a different machine with BL laser - please share it as well.
