Hello All, 

New F1 user here. I've spent a considerable amount of time looking for the answer to this question. I'm getting conflicting information in regards to the safety of the F1 framing tool.

Some say that the laser is safe for your eyes and skin while adjusting your workpiece with the hood in the open position.  

Other information indicates that you must not let the framing laser touch your skin and to wear protective googles when adjusting your workpiece with the hood in the open position.

Any thoughts from the community?????
