I had difficulty inserting the cable into the laser module initially, but now having equal difficulty removing it to change the lasers. I know to push the centre white section in, but the top part of the white is caught under the black ledge and I can’t pull it forwards on both sides as well as push in the centre and pull upwards. Is there a knack to getting it in and out easily?

Also the material around the wires is starting to fray a lot already. Has anyone covered it in anything so stop it getting any worse?
