I know there is a power switch on the back. And there is a button on the front. Since the manual doesn't say, and I have looked all over I want to make sure I'm turning this off properly and not going to ruin it by turning it off wrong. 

Do I just use the switch on the back to power off the machine, or do I hold the button on the front down?
