i got 40w xtool s1 few months ago - i have used it less than 10 hours.

I started cutting plywood 3mm recently at 90% power, 15mm/sec. It used to clean cut when it was band new without any issues - however now, it doesn't cut all the way or it cuts but leaves small gaps.

The plywood is flat so there is almost no height difference throughout the board. The design i'm cutting is extremely simple: i.e. large rectangles. (see images). I clean the laser module after use and the air assist works fine as well.

I have not tried lowering the focus however i did not have to use it before. Does the laser deteriorate this fast or am i missing anything?
