I recently purchased the machine mainly to cut wood designs but not specifically for that purpose.  What types of wood can I use other than plywood and how do I know what settings to use?  I have a wood planer to get the appropriate thickness and I'd rather use something other than plywood.  I tried plywood and used the material guide settings with the plywood on top of the honeycomb but it caught on fire.
