I have been trying to use the pens that came with my M1 Ultra and they are as easy to install as I imagined them to be. I imagined they would just slip right in but I have to having to wiggle and rotate the pen holder in order to get the latch to close. Is this really how it works or might there be something amiss with my device?

I was also led to believe that other pens besides xTool pens may work as long as they fit in the holder. I have tried a Cricut pen and it appears to fit in the holder but when I try and insert it in the module I can't lock the latch. When I insert one of these pens in the holder the flexible ends where the pen tip protrudes appears to flair out ever so slightly which makes me think that is where the problem is.

I was hoping to find permanent fine marker to have the machine draw on matte orange self adhesive vinyl and I read somewhere that Sharpie Ultra fine pens should work but they definitely don't fit in the holder. Any ideas on alternates pens?
