Using .xcs, I design an object to be laser cut. I thought I saw another video somewhere that showed how you can remove lines of overlapping objects in a design so that things don't get cut that aren't supposed to get. I tried various combinations of using ‘group’, ‘combine’ and ‘substract overlapping’ to no avail.  I tried adding an outline because that is exactly what I'm trying to cut out but that didn't work, either. I'll  try to attach the file. If you have an answer please use small words and explain it like you're talking to a 6 year old.  I'm new at this stuff. Thank you.
