Hi,

I've engraved a number of things with my P2 and everything works fine.  I went to engrave a 1.25" board, and it was too thick to fit on top of the slats.  I removed the slats and changed it to open plane, but now when I try and get a thickness, it comes out as 1.75" and the camera views are no longer useful.  The board is an 18x12 and i've drawn a box that size to get an idea at positioning, but the wide angle photo isnt showing the bottom 3 inches of the board.  With the incorrect measurement, i'm uncomfortable trying to test engrave anything.  

What would the proper set of procedures be to engrave my 1.25 inch board.  Remove the slats, set to open plane are what I thought might be the case, but it still eludes me as to what I'm missing.

Hope I made sense with this post and any direction is greatly appreciated.
