The blade won't cut through the material. A few lines are not cut through. The cutting edge may be warped.
Possible Causes:
#1 Wrong material Setting in XCS
Processing parameters vary from the material.
Choose the corresponding material in XCS.
Proceed with the default processing parameters.
Note: Different materials have different processing parameters.
#2 Improper Processing Parameters
This issue may be solved in the following ways:
Reduce the processing speed.
Increase the cut pressure.
Add processing pass.
#3 The Blade Is Worn Out
The harder the material is, the easier the blade gets worn out.
If yes, replace it with a new one.
Note: The blade may be worn out due to high-hardness materials cutting, and therefore affect the cutting performance. For example, the material won't be cut through, and the cutting edge may be warped.
#4 Check Calibration
Click the gear icon on the top right corner.
Go to 'Setting'.
Click 'Calibrate' as shown in the photo below.
Note: Replacing or hitting the blade will make it slightly move, which will affect processing accuracy.
#5 Deformed Baseplate or Material
Make sure the surface of the material or the baseplate is even. Replace them if necessary.
If the baseplate is slightly deformed, use the blade calibration to improve the cutting result.
If the base plate is significantly deformed and beyond repair, please contact xTool customer support or your dealer.
