With D1 Pro being powered on and connected to your computer(via USB/Wi-Fi/IP), click ⚙ > Working parameters,  you can select either Red cross or Laser spot as the positioning mode.

If Red cross is selected, a red cross will automatically emerge every time the D1/D1 Pro is turned on.

While the red cross will be automatically turned off once it starts laser processing.

If Laser spot is selected, you will have to enable it each time by clicking Process > Enable.

Every time when you leave the processing page, the Laser spot will be turned off. You need to turn it on again if you want to use Laser Spot for positioning.
