Search for "xTool Creative Space" in App Store or Google Play or visit xtool.com/software to download the app and install it on your iPad.
(1) In the top-right corner of XCS, tap + Add project > Create project.
(2) On the top of the project editing page, tap Please connect a device.
💡 Note: If you have connected an xTool device in XCS before, tap the device's name on the top of XCS, and select Connect device. |
(3) Tap WiFi > Configure Wi-Fi.
(4) Ensure that xTool M1 Ultra is turned on. Click M1 Ultra > Next.
Press and hold the right sliver button on the device for a few seconds until the indicator turns white. Tap OK, next.
(5) Enter the Wi-Fi name and password, and click OK, next.
Click Go to connect device hotspot, then the page jumps to the Wi-Fi list, and select xTool_M1 Ultra.
(6) Go back to XCS. Tap Connection completed. The configuration is completed, and tap Go to connect.
(7) You can see your device name on the list. Tap it to connect it.
(1) Download the xTool Creative Space software applicable to the operating system that runs on your PC from https://www.xtool.com/pages/software.
(2) Double-click the software you've downloaded to install it.
Note: Click Yes if you are asked "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" and then continue the installation as prompted.
(1) Use the USB cable to connect xTool M1 Ultra to your computer.
(2) Open XCS on your computer. On the top-right corner of XCS, click the + New project button.
(3) On the top of the project editing page, click Please connect a device.
(4) On the pop-up window, click the name of your device to connect to it.
Click Obtain background on the right panel, and you can get a QR code.
(1) On the right side of XCS, select a processing mode. Here we use Lasering on flat surface as an example.
(2) Select the name of your material. Tap User-defined material on the right panel to select materials. If you can't find the name of your material, you can select User-defined material and click Confirm.
💡 Note: After you select a material on the material list or material library, the software will automatically set parameters for laser processing. The default settings apply to xTool materials. You can adjust the settings based on your needs. If you select User-defined material, you need to set the processing parameters by yourself. |
(1) Place a material on the baseplate.
(2) In the bottom of the canvas, select the icon > Snapshot preview in the editor bar.
(3) Use the camera to take a picture of the processing area. You can tap the link on your iPad and watch the tutorial first.
Make sure four viewpoints are included in the picture.
(4) When you complete to shoot the background, click Sent to computer.
(5) Use the scanning window to scan the QR code on the computer.
(6) The background is sent to the computer successfully.
Go to Process on Flat Surface in XCS to continue processing on your computer.
