xTool P2's Processing Position is Different From the Camera Preview

Issue description

When trying to process materials in Laser cylindrical mode on XCS, the actual processing position of P2 does not correspond to what is positioned by the camera through the captured image.

#1 Use the distant-view camera

If you use the close-view camera, please change it to the distant-view camera. The close-view camera may not capture the entire view and central position of the processing area, which could result in inaccurate positioning.

#2 Measure manually the focal distance

Sometimes errors in auto-measurement may lead to inaccurate positioning.

  • Please confirm if this is the case and measure the distance manually
  • Make sure you use the open plane scale of the distance ruler. See this guide for details.

#3 Check locating line

Make sure the locating line in XCS falls to the highest position of the cylindrical material.
