Solutions for Large Errors in Aimed-Measure or Quick-Measure

Issue description

When measuring material thickness on the slats in Slats flat mode, you may find the value obtained by the aimed or quick measure function can be 1mm or greater than the actual thickness.

 

#1 Check the X-axis gantry (For aimed measure function only)

  • Check if the X-axis gantry is misaligned by referring to the article provided.
  • If misalignment is found, follow the detailed instructions to fix it and ensure that it is parallel to the front or rear plate.

#2 Check the slats

Make sure that the slats under the material are correctly installed.

 

#3 Check material properties

  • Materials that are transparent, highly reflective, or dark black can affect accuracy.
  • Place a white paper on the material for measurement and remove it afterward.

 

#4 Examine material flatness

Inspect the material for any deformities and ensure it is flat.

 

#5 Calibrate the measurement data
