Calibrate the Ink Stack Position for xTool Apparel Printer
Overview
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on calibrating the ink stack position detection algorithm to offset any minor deviation between the print head and the ink stack that may arise due to transportation. Properly calibrating the ink stack can resolve issues such as:
Ink extraction failure: No ink is drawn through the ink flow tube system into the ink dampers inside the print carriage.
Incomplete print output: Frequent missing strip lines or incomplete sections in your prints.
Calibration procedure
Step 1: Initiate ink stack calibration
- On the LCD control panel of your printer, tap Settings > Other.
- Scroll down the list to locate the Ink stack calibration tab.
- Tap its Start up button to begin the process.
Step 2: Perform ink extraction or cleaning
After calibration, perform an Ink extraction or 2–3 full cycles of the standard Auto Cleaning procedure, depending on your issue:
If experiencing ink extraction failure:
- Tap Settings > Other.
- Scroll down the list to locate the Ink extraction tab.
- Tap its Start up button to begin the process.
If experiencing incomplete print output:
- Tap Settings > Other.
- Scroll down the list to locate the Ink extraction tab.
- Tap its Start up button to begin the process.
Run 2–3 full cycles of the standard auto Cleaning.
