xTool F1 Ultra Won't Power On

Issue Description

Occasionally, you may find that the machine fails to activate despite the power cable being connected and the power switch engaged. This issue may happen even with a newly acquired machine fresh out of the box. If you experience this issue, please refer to the subsequent steps for troubleshooting.

 

Troubleshooting

#1 Reset the stop switch

Upon initial receipt of the machine, the emergency stop switch may be in the triggered position, which, when connected to the power source and switched on, can prevent the machine from starting.

  1. If the emergency stop switch is triggered, it needs to be rotated to pop it out.
  2. Ensure the switch is in the off position, reconnect the power cord, and then turn on the switch to start the machine.
The switch is triggered (pressed down) vs. reset (a bit popped out)

 

#2 Remove the lens protector

Please make sure the lens protector at the bottom of the laser module is removed. Otherwise, the laser will be blocked.
