Latest Software update gives kernel32.dll error
- My xTool product model (D1 Pro 20 watt with IR head) version
- Latest version xTool-Creative-Space-2.2.23-2024-10-11-11-14-30
- Replaced xTool-Creative-Space-1.7.8-2023-11-17-46-35
- Windows 7 Home SP 1
- Aspire 5759 X64 I5 Generation
- The latest version was installed after the previous version was completely uninstalled and the computer retarted.
- Got the following error message when I ried to run the software. ("The procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll")
- To troubleshoot the issue, the previous version was completely uninstalled and the computer retarted prior to the installation of the latest version. Got the same message agai…software would not run.
- Reverted back to the old version after removing the upgrade….no error message at all.
- Has anyone encountered this and more importantly, is there a fix?
