Ok, so I have done my research, I have tried other suggested settings including the one on the chart in Xtool.au and it does NOT work at all. Yet, I have cut 3mm before, so far I have wasted 3 hours and 6 sheets of basswood. Absolutely not impressed. So the 100% power, 3mm speed and 1 pass is an epic fail, doesnt cut through at all and looks like engraving on the back. So I tried 100 power, 6mm speed and 1 pass, didnt even go through. I thought I could up the power but the software automatically changes it back to 100.

I DO NOT know what to do, as I have huge success with anything under 3mm, so I am thinking that the thickness ability is a lot less than you state in all your info. Unless this is going to work on other thicknesses I have wasted over AUD$700 on this machine. 

Yes I do clean my lens and baseplate after every usage, however that is not making a difference either. The only other thing is (if possible) is to change the laser module from a 5W to a 10W. I am so sick of wasting my time, wood and money trying to start a business with a machine that is just throwing my money down the literal toilet.
