After cleaning my laser tonight, (which I have done often enough to know how to properly loosen and tighten the thumb screw that holds the laser module in place), the thumbscrew would not tighten….and then it just completely came out. It doesn't appear to be stripped but obviously I need help. Is it possible to order a replacement thumb screw? Will that fix my problem or is it possibly stripped inside the plate? Is this something others have experienced? 

(For some reason, I have two spare shorter thumbscrews with all of the “spare parts” I have from when I first got my machine, but no extras of this longer one.)

It's crazy how vital a role this one little thumbscew plays. I can't really do anything with this machine until I get this resolved since the laser module won't lock in place without it. I sincerely appreciate any help or advice you all can provide. Thanks!
