I just received my new laser, I upgraded to the 40w module, and got the entire package rails and all.  The thumbscrew that's supposed to hold the module at the desired height won't fully tighten.  As soon as it gets close to the required force there's a “click” and it loosens, somewhat similar to a torque wrench clicking.  As it is I can't get enough pressure to support the weight of the module so the laser is dead weight.  Any help is appreciated.
