UPDATE: I've determined my problem is getting the openers into an appropriate position. They seem to be too high in certain configurations and too low in others. 

Any tips for holding bottle openers in place while engraving? I'm using the M1 with the honeycomb in place. If I use the magnets, the metal portion sticks down and the wooden handle stands up on an angle. If I use nothing, the opener moves all over the place.
