I could use some help and I'm looking for advice. 

I have a Glowforge Pro and got the F1 in December as a new machine that I could take to events. Unfortunately, I ended up having to get a replacement after working with the Xtool team due to it having a very weak laser.  

I got the replacement but it also seems to have a weak engrave, thankfully not nearly as much as the first one. I know the two lasers, the GF Pro and F1, have completely different power outputs but the F1 only seems to slightly burn the turn layer of the wood instead of giving what I would call an engrave. 

That all being said, I'd like to check my expectations with those who've used the F1 and have more experience with XTool equipment. Is the results I attached normal? Is there a troubleshooting step you think I could do?  Should I reach back out to the Xtool support team because I may have another dud on my hands? Please let me know. 

I forgot to add that I did make sure the two laser lined up after an autofocus and a manual focus. 

The material I have is a 1/8 Baltic Birch wood and I am using the following settings: 

3mm Basswood Plywood A4
100 power / 300 speed (default settings)
