Hi,

I am trying to engrave the blade of pocket knife with my xTool P2.  I place the open knife  on the slats, measure the thickness and create the text I wish to engrave.  When I start the engraving, the laser head scans and moves the knife out of position by hitting the outer case.  I have tried both bi-directional and uni-directional scanning.  Do I have to remove the blade from the casing?  All input is appreciated.
